  The site hit over 10,000,000 million page views today!, so thanks to all the contributors and users of PsychWiki.

  The site hit over 5,000,000 million page views today, which is three million page views within the last year.

  We upgraded the Mediawiki software to provide more functionality to the site. Let us know if you see any errors or bugs caused by the upgrade.

  PsychWiki reached over 1,000 pages today of user generated knowledge for psychology! Thanks to all the contributors and editors.

  According to PsychWiki statistics (see top right of this page) we hit and exceeded over 500 pages on PsychWiki!

  Today marks the 2000th new registered user to PsychWiki. Although anyone can use/view PsychWiki without logging in, see here for the benefits of logging into PsychWiki.

  The 'Main Page' has been redesigned and updated, including organizing the information around two focal points - knowledgebase, and "my psychwiki".

  We added a new feature called "Short Titles" where you can use simpler article names in the URL as an alternative to the normal naming system. For example, the PsychWiki page on aggression is "http://www.psychwiki.com/wiki/Aggression" but you can also access it now by "aggression.psychwiki.com"

  We installed a new footnote function so that you can use footnoting to make it easier for the reader to find relevant information. See the Help! section about how to footnote.

  In order to improve the "search" function, we installed "case sensitivity" so that the search function will try to capitalize all words in a string if it does not get a match with regular case sensitivity.

  We created a new editing tool where putting double brackets around text that ends in a "date" creates a link to Google Scholar: for example, typing this: [[Baron and Kenny, 1986]], creates this: (Baron and Kenny, 1986).
