APA PsychCareers Job Search
- APA's online career center is called "PsychCareers" and others many useful pages about the job hunt including a searchable database. You can also browse jobs by category, state, and country. If you have a PsycCareers account you can save a list of jobs you have reviewed. You can also post your resume for potential employers to find you.
APS Employment Ads
- APS's online career center includes a searchable database that can be searched by Keyword (e.g., Neuroscience, Columbia, Wisconsin) Location (e.g., states, provinces, countries) Subject Area (e.g., Cognitive, Applied Psychology, etc) and Employer.
Chronicle of Higher Education Job Ads
- The Chronicle of Higher Education is a source of news, information, and jobs for college and university faculty members and administrators. The Chronicle Career Center has a searchable database by Keyword (e.g., Neuroscience, Columbia, Wisconsin), Zip code, Radius from the zip code (e.g., 30 miles, 60 miles, etc) , State or Region, Category (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, etc). Keep in mind that the searchable database is for all jobs in higher education, not just psychology. You can also
browse by Position Type, State/Region, Employer Profiles, Discipline/Field, and Institution name. The Chronicle Career Center also has news, advice, and forums about the application process.

- Be sure to join the listservs in the field you are looking to be employed because sometimes the first job notices are sent through the listservs before being advertised on the employment websites.
