Quick summary of how to track changes

  1. View the recent edits of all pages in PsychWiki using "Recent changes" so that you can monitor and review changes.
  2. View the recent edits of individual pages by using the "history" tab at the top of each page.
  3. View the recent edits of only those pages which link to the current page using "Related changes".
  4. View a list of all the edits you have made to PsychWiki pages by clicking on the "my contributions" link.
  5. Indicate which articles you want to watch using the "watch" tab at the top of each page.
  6. View all articles you have indicated as "watch" in your "my watchlist"
  7. Receive email notifications when pages change by clicking on this function in the "preferences" tab.

How can I view the edits made to pages within PsychWiki?

  1. If you want to view the edits made to all pages in PsychWiki:
    • click on the "Recent changes" link in the left-hand sidebar. You can monitor and review changes to pages because the "Recent changes" page provides a record of the date and time of every edit, the user who made it, the edit summary, and the ability to compare different versions. See here for more detailed information about the "Recent changes" link. See here for information about "enhanced recent changes".
  2. If you want to view the edits made to individual pages:
    • click on the "history" tab at the top of the page. For an explanation of the "history" tab, see here.
  3. If you want to view edits to only those pages which link to the current page:
    • click on the "Related changes" link which is located in the left-hand sidebar under the "toolbox" window. Related Changes does not automatically include talk pages; to watch also the corresponding talk pages, links to them also have to be in the page on which Related Changes is applied.

Where can I find a list of all the edits I have made?

  1. View a list of all the edits you have made to PsychWiki pages by clicking on the "my contributions" link.
  2. The "my contribution" link is available if you are logged-in, and it is located at the top right-hand side of this webpage next to the "log out" link.
  3. Below is an example of an user contributions page using the default skin:
