Research </div>

  • My primary research interests concern positive psycholgoy. In particular wellbeing, happiness, and values. See http://www.wellbeingstudy.com
  • I also conduct clinical research on depression.

Teaching </div>

  • I currently teach clinically orientated course; a third year course on adult psychopathology and a first year course on counselling theories. In the past i have taught course on the psycholgoy of stress, general and applied psychology, social psychology. I have also taught philosophy, in particular courses on social and moral philosophy, and applied and environmental ethics.

    • I am President of The New Zealand Association of Positive Psychology: www.positivepsychology.org.nz
    • I am also a member of a reang of other associations, including the New Zealand Psychological Society and New Zealand College of Clincial Psychologists.
